Please join us in our efforts to preserve these important elements of our history, and help us share them with those innovators and creators who would appreciate them the most. 

Funding is needed for the construction of all exhibit elements, including displays and multimedia encasements, audio narrative to accompany the materials in a self-guided tour, and overall programming. All funds raised beyond these requirements will go towards the creation of grants, events, and programs held at the AbelCine Learning Point relating to the promotion and education of early cinema technology and The First CineMakers.

The First CineMakers is a non-profit organization in accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. Your donation may qualify for an income tax deduction in accordance with Federal and/or State income tax laws. Please consult with your tax advisor to determine whether your donation is tax deductible in whole or in part.

Friends of The First CineMakers

Join our efforts and let other image-makers know that you believe in the preservation of our cinematic history by becoming a Friend of The First CineMakers. Make a charitable donation between $25 and $500 and your name will appear on The First CineMakers website. The first 100 names will appear on a permanent plaque within the exhibit. You’ll also be invited to a special evening event, upon completion of the full exhibit.

Your organization’s name will appear on an independent plaque within the exhibit and on The First CineMakers website in the sponsors section.

Patron

Your organization’s name will appear on an independent plaque next to one of the eight currently planned exhibits and on The First CineMakers website in the sponsors section, with a profile listing.

BenefactoR

$10,000

Your organization’s name will appear on an independent plaque next to the entrance for The First CineMakers and on The First CineMakers website in the sponsors section, with a profile listing. Employees of your company will be invited to a special evening event, upon completion of the full exhibit, that will feature key exhibit contributors, as well as a private tour of the exhibition.
