We believe in the power of the moving image, and the importance of preserving its technological history in order to inform and inspire a new generation of imagemakers.

Please join us in our efforts to preserve these important elements of our history, and help us share them with those innovators and creators who would appreciate them the most.

Funding is needed for the construction of all exhibit elements, including displays, multimedia, encasements, audio narrative and program. All funds raised beyond these requirements will go towards the creation of grants, events, and programs held at the AbelCine Learning Point relating to the promotion and education of early cinema technology and The First CineMakers.
